We knew wholeheartedly this was what we were meant to do. Yet the demands of the first few weeks put the enormity of the task into perspective. Finally, the doors open, the mats roll out, and you realize—this is real! It’s not just a vision anymore; it’s a living, breathing space that you’ve poured your heart and soul into.
Fortunately, we didn’t have to do it alone. The love and support from our friends was overwhelming. People we hadn’t seen in years showed up, not just to take a class, but to be a part of this journey with us. Every message, every shared post, every hug—it all reminded us that we were building something bigger than just a studio. We were building a home.
But here’s the real challenge—balancing the business with the passion. If you’ve ever started something you care deeply about, you know what I’m talking about. It’s the late nights spent planning, the early mornings preparing, and the constant push and pull between making it work financially and staying true to the heart of why you started in the first place.
We had people come in for the very first time, hesitant and curious. By the end of class, they were smiling, relaxed, and already asking when they could come back. That’s when we knew—this isn’t just a business. This is a place where people come to find balance, to heal, and to be a part of something special.
